Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure (CARD) Act.

So I actually got some junk mail that I was pleasantly surprised by. Everyone keeps asking "Where is OUR bailout?" Well, it seems as thought President Obama has enacted a new legislation beginning in February 2010. It's not really a bailout, but it's really something to help people struggling everyday with credit card debt, and it may actually make life a bit easier for some people. I scanned the actual letter that I received from Bank of America not too long ago which highlights some important points, and things you as a consumer will be very happy to know. Some things such as payments being applied to the balances with higher APR's and not being penalized with an increase of APR when you make a late payment. Click on the image below to read more!!
